firstly, happy teachers' day to all my teachers out there, and thank you for generously imparting your knowledge upon us.

secondly, happy birthday to triciaa, my classmate of three years :D hope ya like that shirt ^^

thirdly, today i went back to shps :DD
actually i didn't plan to go back because most of my friends weren't too, but then decided to meet up with the few that came back! which includes... theo, lydia, michelle, the 2 jeremys, jourdan puny poon, lucy, yuwei, greg and a few others. saw the teachers, and they say they can't recognise me anymore :/ ha ha. went to eat lunch at century's foodcourt, along with a very depressed jourdan who was obsessed with my phone and bag and yadda, AND who felt that he ruined his get-together that he organised. followed by a movie "the devil wears prada", a interestingly nice show about the real world. thanks jourdan for the popcorn treat! ha ha~

well it actually is kinda funny how much people change. jourdan isn't that puny anymore (and he IS actually taller than me), and so is jeremy tan. i was looking at those little kids assemble in the canteen doing number ones and number twos, and i suddenly felt... how much i miss being one of those little tiny kids running about, carefree as a lark. and now i look at how much we've changed and grown into young men and women (sorta?) and it really is a little bit ironic(?).

mmm i'm off to eating my dinner. so long then~

mmm. although i'm like all beat up and tired, today was fulfilling! :D

today was just like any normal day, except after all the normal stuff, we went to collect our hotstuff class teeeee~ and it's really Green Day inspired. black shirt red tie hehehe ^^ went with meng, alex, lionel, bryaan to far east plaza, collected the ties first followed by the shirts. ate some really nice gooey oyster noodles for dinner, topped with berry sorbet & walnut butterscotch ice cream @ 30% off! hehe *rubs tummy*

thennnn bought tricia's prez, went to Gallery to check out Nike Dunks but they were closed! T-T
posed for a picture with meng in our class tees outside a large billboard ad that said "coming soon"
and by that time our legs were already breaking so we went home!

haaaha i'm starting to like our class :D

was browsing through the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English when i happened to stumble across some bad words. this makes me wonder, why isnt a "PARENTAL ADVISORY: MATURE CONTENT" found printed on the cover page? am compiling some words (in pure english, no dialects) i found in here anyway, here goes:

Asshole - someone who you think is stupid and annoying.
Bitch - an insulting word for a woman that you dislike or think is unpleasant.
Cocksucker - a very insulting word for a man. do not use this word.
Damn - spoken when you are extremely angry or annoyed with someone or something.

and..
here comes the very interesting F words.

F ck - used to show that you are very angry at something or that you do not care about them at all.
F ck off - used to tell someone to go away in an extremely rude manner.
F ck up - to make someone very unhappy and confused so that they cannot live normally or have normal relationships.
F ckhead - someone who you dislike very much or think is stupid.

and the list of F words goes on and on.

Jackass - an offensive word for an annoying stupid person
Motherf cker - a very offensive word for someone that you dislike very much or that you are very angry with. do not use this word.
Nigger - a very offensive word for a black person. do not use this word.

hmm yar there are actually quite alot more, but i just cant be bothered to go flipping through1950 pages of the dictionary just to find foul words. ha ha hope yall are entertained~

& i can't wait to go back to shps! teacher's day is cominggg :D

the guy at the tie shop's going to shanghai & get orders for our red ties at 2 bucks each, and the lady at Lips will try and get the tees ready by teachers' day (i hope?)

at this point of time, i don't know what really happened and why things are going this way. say, forgive & forget?

it sucks when you have this really great desire to improve and start changing for the better, and you start, but halfway down the road, laziness sets in and reverts you back to the same old brand new you.

take for example, some things just get the better of us. we make up our minds on some things like, say, preparing for your exams one month beforehand, & you study for two three days and go "this is getting irritating", or just get the urge to throw your books out of the window.

OR it can also be like how i made up my mind to take the entire weekend to prepare for my bio test that was today (and was good), but i ended up rotting away my entire saturday, out shopping on sunday and only begin to revise on sunday night and monday morning.

where has all the self control in the world gone? i MUST do this means i MUST do it. no right turns, no left turns. set my mind on a target, WANT to achieve that target, and achieve that target.

one more thing, the best way to having a successful "academic-life" is not plainly just by forcing yourself to read through chunks of calculus or what-shit subjects, at the same time wishing you could rip up the pages and throw `em into the fireplace. the secret lies in how much we love studying.

some subjects appeal to us more, while some less. take for example, i love bio, thus i tend to pay much more attention during bio classes compared to chemistry classes. another factor is the one who teaches you. if you have this strong urge to chop of that teacher's head in class, chances are we aren't willing to pay 100% of our attention during his/her classes. teachers that we like, we tend to (kinda sorta) pay more attention. and when you love this particular subject, you tend to start wanting to study that subject whenever your parents or whatever forces you to do self-revision. and most of the time for me, it's my bio textbook on my table.

but the big question is, how are we supposed to love the subjects that we so strongly despise?

i want to know the answer too, someone hand me the answer sheet?

went to far east plaza instead of TM. the lady at Lips was rly nice! and she gave us a nice tie too! and so, after a long time of discussion while sitting on the floor, decided still on the main design, and perhaps customise our ties ourselves with spray paint? the tee wld be $14, and tie $2.

haha~ today was a day of two plaits. xinyu, are you proud of me?

i swear this was just for fun.

okay lar, i suddenly i think i look a little spastic too. aaack.

anyway, there was cha2 yi4 too, and we learnt how to drink & make tea the.. civilised way. the teacher in charge was a little qianda thou. its kinda cool that cchms is the only school in s'pore that has this little exquisitely furnished room to learn how to drink tea in. hehe.

today, i am proud of chung cheng :D

and tomorrow, i am ponning the whatever programme at mediacorp. sorry, i'm not in the mood to sit in the studio with the camera scanning over our cheering faces on national teevee.

and finally, after two weeks of passing scraps of designs around the class, having a tee collage made during english lesson, and a hell load of random doodles and drawings, may i present to you...

haha at first we were thinking of some crappy red-and-black striped punk styled tee, and ended up with this in the end! spent alot of time thinking up an idea for the back of the shirt. at first agreed on F_CK. Integrity with AttitUde. but realised that it would get banned by chuachorloon.
sooo it became this! and i love love love it :DD

speaking of chuachorloon, i'm gonna miss mr soon and his "your child studies here" sign by the road, all his announcements, detention classes and all. mr soon please dont retire :/ mr chua will make school a living hell.

BUT i'm still glad he isn't my geography teacher. *phew*

anyway, tmr will be going to TM to cfm the prices for the T-Shirts. cant wait ^^

cherry scented cigarettes

i walk around the whole of singapore. outside of my school, the park near my home, orchard road, the streets, and i'm smelling cherry/strawberry-scented cigarettes. it's driving me crazy, and i'm getting irritated. UGH. cool as the idea of ~~plain~~ flavoured cigarettes, it STILL is stupid to smoke, and leave behind traces of cherry/strawberry cum tobacco scented 2nd hand smoke, damaging the healthy lungs of other innocent kids around. no offence to anyone who smokes.
know what happens when you smoke? the tobacco causes the alveoli (main place for gaseous exchange) in the lungs to burst. then there are fewer air sacs for diffusion of air to take place. thus you have to breathe more frequently in order to get a sufficient amount of oxygen into your blood to keep yourself alive. okaay! have i not made my point~

anyway, was walking out of school with shiang, mel, zenda, chantelle, phin, shuhua, and there was this bunch of kids selling lemonade ^^ and it was yummy! its like those kinda things in comic strips where kids try to sell lemonade at 100 bucks per cup trying to strike it rich hehe. mel & shiang's parents came to fetch them, took 31 with the rest to tampines and went home.

hahah. i'm gna mug. from now on. i promise.

POINT: we rock.
EVIDENCE: we sneaked into 2 movies, click and my super ex-girlfriend, at TM's cinema, and walked past the ticket person and he didn't even know.
EXPLANATION: it is rare that we come across people sneaking into strict cinema's like golden village TM, wearing heels that go "plonk-plonk" on the floor, and being over-dressed, being able to walk past cinema staff without getting suspected.

yeah man! click was nice. it was about this man who owned this remote control that could control everything in his life. he could fastforward, pause, replay, mute it. so whenever he was unhappy with his life, he would fastforward it. but the remote control started auto-fastforwarding whatever he had fast forwarded before, and he missed out on the greatest parts of his life.

after 2 movies went to marina sq, ate macs there. and the service there sucks. dont ever eat there again. reason? because there is a 10metre long queue, the cashier forgets your orders, forgets to give you your burgers, and the place is jampacked.

reached expo at arnd 7.30, met the guys, headed over to the hall 8 or sth, and it was a blast! planetshakers were rocking the stage. jumped like crazy, hehe.

hehe i've got 2 more trophies to add to my shelf^^
i'm proud of the girls from my class esp. jiajie, mengsiew and xinyu!
individuals i was running with jiajie, and we almost "died" due to giant stiches in the gut, and it was waaay tiring, in the end came in 6th, and jiajie was 7th. but our class girls' team came in 2nd!
okay, slacked around after prizegiving and waited for em to finish cam-whoring by the pretty sandcastles, ate dinner with lotsa sotongggg,
went to the wakeboarding pool place which was a really breath-taking sight at night with all the lights and reflections, aww.
shared a cabby home with dyane, phin and shuhua!
later's gna be planetshaker's! and perhaps will go for some movie-hopping too!

was shaken up pretty badly this morning at 9am, got out of bed rather unwillingly, and headed with family to changi airport for some breakfast.

met shiangling & zhongruan people at tampines, went to huang lao shi's house and had a rather LARGE helping of yummy steamed dumplings, ate and ate and ate.
got a shock when mum suddenly called me and told me she bought me a mp3 player.

haha, NDP's going on right now, and surprise surprise, i ain't watching! for like the first time in years. i mean, since i was born (?)

anyway, why do so many people want to migrate?
is Singapore really that bad?
when i was younger, i remember i used to lament about singapore's hot & humid weather, the pressurising education schemes, the amount of taxes to be paid and so on,
but come to think about it, singapore's not that bad either.
s'pore is one of the brightest cities in the world at night, and compared to other countries, we have the most streetlights in every corner. people in foreign countries daren't go out till late in the night as crime rates skyrocket, but school kids like us can sit in pasir ris park forever and not worry about a single thing.

okay, its 12.38am, happy birthday singapore!

haha national day celebration was crazy today,
people were running all around and singing songs,
first time i've seen my class girls so enthu ^^
watched the pupils vs teachers vball,
teachers own man!
erm then there was comm meeting,
and shiangling got into some uncalled-for trouble :/

proceeded back home with zenda,
shiang came in a jifty thanks to 109 :D
brought the cake up to the freezer,
and chantelle's dad loaded his car with 4girls 2guys and a hell loada food!
started the fire with "cute" charcoal!
killed the entire ant colony with a sparkler!
sparkler-fried aaants!!!
and caused all the food to get ash-contaminated.
went back to grab the cake with a whole bunch of girls,
walked back, lighted the candles, played with sparklers,
spin the bottle (harhar~),
the entire contents of my vodka vanished mysteriously, hehe.
then most of the people went to try and get alcohol, but failed,
me,zenda,brian chilled in tent and waited for phin's mum,
and went hooooooooome,

so here i am now.
today was fun!

and tmr's gna be fun at the bbq i think!

loller, anyway, today was sianded just like a norm monday,
except a lesson replaced assembly,

after school walked out with zenda, phin and shuhua,
caught a cab with p&s,
got home uber early,

yay i'm feeling contented.

sister brought me to her colleague's bbq at downtown east,
devoured like 2938752735097 chicken wings and drumlets.
and there was this unbelivable baby that was staring at me.
and drooling all over his cute baby outfit.
hehe i definitely want a baby in the future future future.

and the big reason why i'm feeling contented is...

because i ate ben&jerry's for the FIRST EVER TIME in my life
and it was fulfilling ^^
3 nice big scoops served on a big waffle.
mmm *everyone starts to drool*
chocolate fudge brownie, cherry garcia and yummy strawberry cheesecake.

had lunch with my classgirls at day&night,

got home&mapled,

talked from casual stuff to personal stuff,
