woke up at 6.45am today.
rushed all the way to school just to find that there was no flagraising.
aye. after school had to go meet mrs tan chuen yin for some arts ambassador thingy. me, zhiwen and benji chose publicity(: make announcements and collect tickets blahblah. get about 1/2 hr of CIP every week!
then went to canteen to have lunch with zenda shiang edwin and evan, and walked out together after that. me zenda and evan walked so slow until shiang and edwin walked ahead first, so by the time we got to the busstop they were gone! waited like forever for the bus 40 to come along.
evan gladly volunteered to pei me to funan. actually i didnt rly plan to go, was just a slip of the mouth. went there, and to my dismay they didn't let me reativate my account. sighs. it has alot of beautiful memories and sad memories, but i guess i should let these old memories fade away and strive to create more memories?
and evan pei-ed me all the way back to pasir ris again. aiyoh.
thank you evan. for accompanying me all the way, even though i've known you less than a month.
thank you zenda for all the comfort you gave me through msn. i rly appreciate it.
thank you keith for trying to cheer me up by offering to train a new noob account with me.
thank you to the butts for being always there!
i feel so contented with all the friends that i have.
and zenda just reminded me that i still have God. who will ALWAYS be there no matter what.

to start the day off, i was feeling terribly guilty.
coz in the morning while i was brushing my teeth i accidentaly knocked my sister's toothbrush into the toiletbowl. and i just picked it up, rinsed it and put it back into the toothbrush holder. luckily the toiletbowl was flushed. *blinkblink* act innocent. oops. she just read my post. and she is killing me. *stabstab* and she's threatening to drop my underwear into an unflushed toilet and let me wear them later on =.=" diaoz
mmz. then to the later part of the day i got pangseh-ed by the rest of my backsides from 3rp coz they went to support the tabletennis match. yup. cch won ^^ as usual. hahhs. but they got to leave school at like 12.15! aw. so jealous. all qingwei's fault. nvr go volunteer to support. aah.
had to go through Amaths lesson, and turns out that today is mdm phua's last day! ahaas! we're all suffering from Phua's Mental Syndrome, more commonly known as PMS. so it's good that she's going to china or retiring or whaatever.
aah. durg assembly group of china performers came to perform, erhu and dancing and stuffs. rly cool. and then after that mr soon made all the sec3 girls stay back to give us a longlonglonglonglong lecture on our attire =.=" and spotchecked the first 6 classes of girls. *HENG*.
okay some rly wu liao alumni has been sending emails to mr soon abt seeing cch pupils in public and commenting on their bad attire and obscenely short skirts. AND seeing cch pupils in zion and complaining and complaining. i mean, what's wrong with going to an internet cafe to have some fun? okaay. maybe not in school uniform. in the end got held back till arnd 5.
then hwei yee and shu jun pei-ed me finish doing my tuition homework, yupyup. thanks alot(: and we ran out of school! hhah. lame and tiring, but fun! crazy girls running and running. ah
reached home, had my shower and gulped down my food in 5min, before rushing off to tuition.
now that im home, im rly tired. and rly sick of indices and surds and logarithms. gah. i need sleep! now!

looking at my old, old hymn book, i think back to the times that i was still in primary 1.
how we used to just hold hands and run to the canteen for recess, and sit at the back of our class and tell each other stories.
i can't even belive i did that during primary 1. i don't even remember until i saw my old hymn book.
this has made me realise how much we have changed since we were 6 years old.
we do different things at different points of our life.
i'm simply too amazed.

YAY i finally got tanned!

hahas went to some asian aerospace exhibition at changi. had lotsa cool planes PLUS the A380! double decker commercial plane. aww i wanna sit! but compared to the millitary planes it really flies like a snail. wahahh. spent lotsa time sitting down in the sun watching the planes fly. helluva noise. and taadaaa. look what a few minutes in the sun can do to you. hah. okayokay so i wont look like a ghost anymore(: hahhs.
aww tmr's back to school. there's a chinese test, and i havent studied. seriously, my chinese teacher is crazy. every week give 1 test. gaah. ohwells.

hahas! ytd was a freaking FUN day!

there was no xiaozu, *rejoice rejoice* so the butts left school early(: walked out and took 16 to orchard, and ate lunch at LJS cine!
main purpose of this shopping trip was to buy new wallets, but ended up buying everything except wallets until the last minute. wahahs.
went to pacific plaza and looked up n down, found nothing, then walked a longlonglong way to FAR east plaza xD spent alot of time there window shopping, taking neos and jumping around.
pia-ed to wisma to get our wallets *finally*. hahahs. mel got a white roxy, shiangg got a black and green roxy, zenda got a black and pink billabong(from 77th street, plazasing) and i got a hot pink and baby pink roxy, $26.90 (: from surferbabes. spent alot of time deciding which to choose.
suddenly realised that we cld go to funan, although zenda's mum said it closes at 8(and it was like 7.45). dearest butts pei-ed me rush all the way to funan, and me & mel were running like mad girls all the way frm city hall mrt. reached asiasoft, but they were closed. *sobsob* thank you mel for running with me up 5 levels(:
then shiang had to go, cos her friends at the bball court were all there once again, and she rly missed them, so we desperately tried to hail a cabby for her, but the stupid taxi's wouldnt stop. then pei-ed zenda to plazasing to get her billabong wallet, and shunbian took another round of neos in the glittery machine. nicenice! and went for our late dinner at kfc(: broke meal-shrooms! wahahh. then took the mrt back with marshMELlow.

school ended at 2.15 today. dearest shiang and mel waited for me!! aww im so freakg touched(: well, walked out together including edwin, and went to eat mincedporkmeeee. hahahahh. then i stole edwin's iPod photo and brought it home! xD. so me and mel pangseh-ed shiang and edwin cos they had to go toapayoh dunno do what. hah! and mel gladly accompanied me to the mrt ^^ and we had a nice lil talk. MEL. know you're very sad cos he is still dao-ing you. cheery upp okay girl? after alot of consideration and thinking, i have come to a conclusion that "loving someone is never easy". sighs.

some people don't know how to treasure what they've got in life. they just like to look at what they dont have, and not at what they have. so to everyone out there, before you start complaining about how your life sucks and family sucks, just look at what there is for you, and compare it to those who are less fortunate than you. nobody can choose what kinda family they wanna be born into. its just a matter of fate, and once its like that, there's no changing it. just accept the fact that you're stuck with a life thats like that, and seek ways to improve it. not complain about it. AND also. some people like to count the bad stuff in others rather than counting the good stuff. and they like to FOCUS on that.

take for example, the minute my mother got home today, she was like. "come downstairs and help me keep clothes." and "go hang up those jackets" and "go tidy up the living room". yeah. and she makes remarks like. "EH. go cover the piano lah!" then i though she meant the solid cover. so i just said i covered it already. then she goes scolding me saying that i can't keep my eyes open cos the cloth to cover the piano is just on top of the piano blahblahblah. and cos i forgot to open the window, she just calls me a "kick one time move one time" sorta kid. see? she just counts the imperfections too. she didnt look at the little details like how i helped wash the dishes before she got home and tidied my room and stuff. and then she ended the scolding by saying "what a bad child." and i told her, "a disobedient child is when you tell him/her to do something, and she/he just ignores it and refuses to obey. a bad child does not mean chucking a whole load of chores at him/her and forgetting to do one small simple task." which in my case was opening the window. =.="
uhhuh. lame? yes. but what can i do? nothing.

hah. today was a sian day at school. had 2 maths and 2 science periods, and an oh-so-boring geography lab session. first thing, i'm freaking pissed with my bio lab partner. xinyu. it's not my fault that i have to be her lab partner since my register number is next to hers. i wish she weren't even in my class. all she did during lab was sit there and take out ONE testube of hers. and she didnt even bother to do her share of worksheets. then she spends so much bloody time chopping up the food samples. and cleaning her darn testubes with soap. and breaking glass droppers. gaah. i feel like strangling her. hmms.

after school i waited for mel and zenda to finish their "meeting" with ms wee. or smth like that. then had to help mel carry boxes of files up to her class. hahah. halfway called keith over and chucked him a box. haaah. and i stole his hellopanda. went to canteen and saw nicola eating hellopanda. stole some also. bwahahahah xD. then keith also wanted to go home, so walked out together with mel and me. had fun time crapping about suitable slacky CCAs for them. wahaahh. okaaye. thats how my day ended in schooool =)

the greatness of gratitude

Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem when ten lepers approached Him. standing at a distance, as lepers were required to do, they called to Him:"Jesus, have mercy on us!" (Luke 17:13).
when Jesus saw them, He commanded,"Go, show yourselves to the priests." and as they journeyed, they were healed.
onr of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back, threw himself at Jesus' feet, and thanked Him. "Where are the nine?" Jesus asked. good question.
Jesus referred to the grateful man as a Samaritan-an outsider-perhaps to underscore His saying that "the sons of this world are more shrewd...than the sons of light" (16:8). the word translated "shrewd" means "thoughtful". sometimes people of the world have better manners than Jesus' followers do.
in the busyness of life, we may forget to give thanks. someone has done something for us-given a gift, performed a task, delivered a timely sermon, provided a word of counsel or comfort. but we fail to say thanks.
has someone done something for you this week? give that friend a call or send a thankyou note. after all, "Love has good manners" (1 corinthians 13:5).
we thank you Lord for blessings
You give us on our way;
may we for these be grateful,
and praise You every day.

okay. so has my post enlightened you guys? hahah. do not underestimate the power of these 2 words, "thank you" yep! just your way of showing gratitude to whatever has been done for you. anyway, i shall say a big THANK YOU to all my friends out there. what would the world be like without them? hahahaaah.
well, today was kinda slack(: firstly had english in 2rp! yepyep. i miss that classroom. hahah. the table that we drew on with chalk is still there. can see the words faintly. and also the 3 words i carved there. hahahs. saw another table with the JOY <3 SHIANGG there(: aww so sweeeet. brings all the memories of 2rp back): i still miss that class!!! haahahah.
yep and during reccess i think i broke my record of slurping down a bowl of piping hot wanton mee in 2 minutes. and ran all the way up to the 4th floor just to see my teacher standing at the flight of stairs and chit-chatting with the clown. wahahah. aye. then during history the teacher also can't control the class, so after i finish the worksheets i just turn around and talk to the irritating people sitting behind me - alex, sean, darren, edwin (in order of appearance). HAHAH! and act crayzee. then kna whack on head by dunno who. i think sean or alex. for no reason!! then that stupid edwin keep asking me to play scissors paper stone with him coz he knows i will lose =.=" lame lah.
ooo yep last night went to Mediacorp! to support beekwee in campus superstar! hahah she has such a nice voice, but sadly she didn't make it to the next round. nevermind! we will always support her! ((: yeah! and adriano is SO CUTE can??? hahahah. yup then after that went to shiang's house to stay over! wahahaha. play with her comp and hairdryer blahblahblah. and prank calling people at 3am but sadly they didnt wake up! gaah. it was fun anyway. hahaah

we don't need more to be thankful for -
we just need to be more thankful.

Love goes beyond liking
from childhood on, we are urged to show love, whether it's for parents or pets or friends, and especially for Jesus. but what is love?
we think of love as an emotion, a tender feeling, a positive reaction. so we may be confused about the meaning of love when we are asked to love God and our neighbour.
feelings simply cannot be commanded. a mother can order her child to love spinach, but she can't compel him to react positively when faced with a helping of that green vegetable.
so love must be more than an emotion. an old translation of our Lord's command may help us to understand love as an action that we choose:"Thou shalt love...." It's choosing to be patient, kind, selfless and humble (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). we can love others even though we may not like them, because it's a matter of making a choice.
yes, we can respond obediently to what God directs us to do. he knows, though, that we are not capable of doing this on our own. that's why He's given us the Holy Spirit to empower us to a life of loving obedience. with His help, we can learn to love those we don't like. who knows? we may even being to like them.
O Lord, how often selfishness
Will raise its ugly head,
So help us, Lord, to conquer it
And show Your love instead.

hokay. so today morning when i was walking to the mrt, noticed some weird things. saw little heavy PODs. those fruits from trees which do dispersal by the fruit bursting up. aha. then i wonder why they even planted these kinda trees above a carpark. when the HEAVY fruit drops down then there is a possibility of it dropping on a car and shattering the windows. some development planners are so stupid.
met shiang and pauline at singpost to have bfast at LJS! they had this really cheap and nice and BIG breakfast set at buy 1 get 1 free. so cute. hahahaha. so shared that set with shiang! couldnt finish it in the end still. aiyoh. then sat the longlonglonglongLONG ride to dover mrt, standing all the way. then took the bus at the wrong side of the road =.= so had to cross over and take back again. finally reached ACJC and then shiang went to find her friend who passed us the coupons to use at the funfair. (did i mention that we were going to acjc's funfair?) basically we just walked around not knowing where to go. then walkwalkwalkwalk and buy random stuff, mostly food. saw yongkai anyway (yonggeng's bro). finally, left at like 1pm with a gigantic bag of purple candy floss.
so decided to go bugis to window shop. went to the wrong side of the road AGAIN and had to cross over to take the correct bus from the correct side. hahahaha. how cute. sat a longlonglonglongLONG bus journey to bugis, thankfully with available seats this time. went there and walkwalkwalkwalk and all three of us bought the same adidas deo - icy burst. =.= sounds so... cold. shall spray some into my locker and our CO instrumental practice room since it stinks of paint and solvent. ah. then went and took neos. hahaha so fun. HM. okay. then decided to go home cos it was getting latelatelaaate. so i got pangseh-ed by shiang and pauline cos they wanted to take bus instead of mrt. hahaha. anyway the mrt was CROWDED! aye. squeeze here squeeze there. hah. okay. i'm still tired! i wanna go sleeeeeeep. but it is still so early. the ~~night~~ day is young. nonono. its kinda old already. hah. i'm talking nonsense. signs that tell you a girl's going crazy. ahwell.

IM TIRED.
day started off by waking up at 6.45pm. stupid alarm clock didn't ring. then dad managed to pia me to school in time. if not it wld be 50 squats from mr soon. why do latecomers have to be punished anyway. ponder ponder. everyone makes mistakes. anyone makes mistakes. whats the BIGDEAL about people getting up late once in a while. i'm sure teachers do wake up late too. even MR SOON may wake up late occasionally. ahwell. life's like that.
walked into class and dumped my bag like what i usually do. can't be bothered. i miss 2rp. alot. the feeling is just different.
after school had co. went out for lunch with shiang and pauline. had some kinda noodles with weird sauce. pretty nice to munch on lah. hah. then had an OREO iceblended. heee. nicenicenice. although it looks disgusting. hmm. i was thinking why cant the stupid co rm get ready quickly. if not we will end up carrying things up and down the stairs every week. yes even chairs.
so. as i was walking home, i see leaves falling all around me. i step on them. "crrrunch crrrrunch". love that sound. so i purposely step on them all the way home. some little tiny entertainment when i'm alone. i walk along that pathway, and reminiscence about those times. not that i care anyway.
then i reached home, and my parents rush me to go bathe and change so can go out for dinner with my sis's bf's family. and we go to the airport and eat thai. then i reach home and there happens to be a funny show going on - white chicks. so i sit there, plug earphones into the TV and watch silently while my dad talks to ck's family. and finally they go home. and im made to take photos of them.
okay. what's my purpose of life. i don't know too. what am i living for? wouldnt it be better if i just wasn't born? why me? out of so many "souls" out there. why did God choose to put me into a person called Joy's body? what am i sent into this world to do? what if i never existed? would there be much difference in this world?
i'm tired.

today was a normal school day. just like any school day. i just wanna say, if i happen to look sad or troubled or give you attitude or whatever, im really sorry. dont feel so right too. i dont know why. hahahh. anyway, im glad that mdm phua cancelled Amaths remedial and instead give us a worksheet to bring home and do. and im also glad that i have a great tablemate, HY. she always lends an ear! and always so lame and funny. SO. on my way out from school. i saw someone i didnt wanna see. and he was like "what's so special about joy." loud enough for me to hear. let me tell you, i dont give a damn. guess what. i dislike your attitude. okay. got home so that i could go have a nice sleep before going for tuition. improve my maths!! wahahaha. okay. byees

today i lugged a big bag of teddy bears to school. heeheee so cute. during recess they had this food rationing thing going on to commemorate total defence day. served nice big steaming bowls of porridge. kinda nice anyway. added lotsa soy sauce and had fun eating and sharing and tasting diff kinds of porridge with mel zen and shiang! wahahahs. so fun so fun!!! then after school went for co sec 1 orientation. games turned out kinda okay. the teddy bear game was kinda fun and cute, altho had to spend lotsa time explaining to them coz they couldnt get what i was talking about =X
anywayys. tmr theres a chem test. and im too lazy to study. AAHHH! work harder lah JOY. sec 3 liao hor. wells. more to come tmr (:

so today was valentines day. 3rd valentines day i've spent in cchms. dont count those in primary school. during those times we were too young and immature to show love to everyone around. also, this valentines day will be my most memorable one. first time i have received valentines day gifts in my whole entire life =D im so elated. SO ELATED. hah.

had a fire drill today. sadly, it wasnt during bio or chinese. so still have to do our tests. im so gonna fail. a fight kinda broke out during lunch time. seems like a guy called sheldon hit a guy then that guy's friends came back to revenge blahblah. saw sheldon crying after that.

okay. spent yesterday and today lazing around, finding what's my purpose of life. after this i'm going to read "the purpose driven life" to find what motivates me, so that i dont waste my time aimlessly and later regret it. basically i just did my proposal today, and imported songs from my many cds into iTunes since my dad deleted all of them. another thing im really angry at is that i havent gotten a reply from my email appealing reactivation of my maple character. i do miss maple. i miss the times when i would just wake up and head to the computer to train my character without having to think all the time about what to do. God, please tell me the purpose of life. teach me how to spend my time wisely.. aaack.

anyway, i wish that i did not pick art as my creative arts module in the first place. =.= you know why. wahlau, get pissed up whenever i see him. do i regret it? yeah kinda. aye. lameshit. 3 tests tmr. chinese, emaths and english compo. gaah, so far only studied e maths. stupid teacher only informed us about the chinese test like TODAY. how are we supposed to study. sheesh. im tired. i want to sleep.

fairly uninteresting day at school. just that during the last lesson of the day (a maths) my hair got spray-painted black by lionel the pig =.= what for spray it black when its already black? then mdm phua kept us back once again. i seriously have some weird teachers. one is SO punctual that exactly when the bell rings she walks into class, and anyone later than her is OUTstanding. kna twice liao. and another one likes to hold us back after school or for recess. gahh. shittyshit. after that went for tuition, and ended like at 9.30pm. went back home and nobody was there to open the door for me. outstanding again. so went to find a phone to call pple, and found that my sis was at home, only too deaf to hear me knocking my knuckles off at the door. then when i went in kna suan by her and she was like imitating whatever i said in a squealish way. i just said "fuck you" under my breath and walked away. damn. sometimes i really feel like killing her. gah. mom calling. gotta run~

so today my class were selling drinks and stuff for the I&E thingy. and stupid teacher in charge didn't let us sell during lower sec recess, and only during upper sec recess. my class bought too many cartons of drinks =.= like.. 200 cans. managed to sell arnd 120+ so anyway we made back what we used, and profited quite a little. still quite a few cans left. heee. thanks to some *supportive* members of our class. HAH.
now, i must congratulate ______ and _____ because something happened, and im SO HAPPY for them xD!! SO CUTE!!! hahaha. andandanddd. after school slacked around then went for CO. hahaha. then went home as usual. what a boring day aye?
anywaaay. Vday's coming. tmr staying back to make lil prezzies for BUTTheads. OHYEAH. by the way, we have this new clique consisting of shiang, mel, zen and ME! shiang is BUTT #o1, i'm BUTT #o2, mel is BUTT #o3 and zenn is BUTT #o4 (: ain't it cute? yes? i knew it ((:

to start off, let me tell you a story.
one day, at approximately 12am, a mapler called cherrylips (level 47 FP wizard and illusi0nistz was playing at the subway in kerning city. illusi0nistz's vaccum hack was turned on, thus the jr wraiths were being vaccumed to a corner. they started training and training, and suddenly another unknown mapler came and stood by them for a moment. before they knew it, they got disconnected. when they tried to sign in again, they couldn't sign in. they got banned for hacking.

today was awesome. first, met shiang at dhoby ghaut mrt, and walked around the basement of plaza sing. shiang's slippers were breaking, so she got a pair of flipflops from flash n' splash. and i got a nice ~~little~~ big new roxy pencilcase, $12.90. heeee. then we decided we were hungry, so got ourselves LJS combo 1's, when BOBBY walked in. hahaha. so we said hello to him and his $90 bag. thenthenthen. we took neos xD. turned out ~~okay~~ horrible. haah. SO. then we took mrt to heeren, and bought ourselves a pink schoolbag from 37 degrees, $39.90. nicenice. i finally got my new schoolbag. after 3 years =)). THEN we walked a longlonglonglong way to far east plaza despite our terribly aching feet. bought purple hair extensions just for the fun of it, ~~$6.90~~ $5. aww. then shiang had to go, cos she needed to be at her cousin's place to bainian. after carrying 2 oranges in her bag the whole day, we parted at the mrt =D. NICE shopping trip, but thats not the end of it =D. suddenly on the mrt, had this OVERWHELMING urge to go for the City Harvest Church weekend service. they had Delirious?, one of the nicest christian rock band all the way from UK to give us a freeee concert. WHOA. it was great. met sean at the expo mrt, then walked to expo hall 8, where i waited for mel and her lil sister to arrive. aaack. grace is so cuute. okok. mel's cute too =) thenthenthen. we went to get our seats, and it began!!! hahaha! played awesome songs like rain down, here i am, here we come, what a friend ive found, did you feel the mountains tremble etcetc. aaack!! fun time jumping up n down!! yeah. service was great too. =D. oh boyy, chc rocks! im so glad i went. OH YA. saw bobby there too! hahas. so qiao. anyway, then walked with mel and her lil sis out, and took the mrt homee! what a FAB day.
tmr going to huanglaoshi's house to bainian and make dumplings. funfunfun. then can wear our purple hair extensions. HA. more to come tmrr

HAH. chia yuwei owes me a favour. i partied him. and i let him stand there and loot. 32%!!! ahhaa. so he used the vac hack on the jr wraiths. then basically i just stood there and fired fire arrows at them. so the training was fast and cool. luckily there was nobody at the subway. hehe. i still can't believe i trained him for 32%.. aughh. hahah. see? im so nice =D

okay. if you wanna be happy, just be happy(: then life would be so happy-go-lucky and carefree. learn to look on the bright side of life.. then maybe you'll see that life ain't that bad at all! anyway, tmr im meeting butt #o1 for SHOPPINGG!!! finally a new school bag. after months of pleading with my mum. wahahas. lets shop till we drop xD. okay LAME. hahaha
